Public Comments being accepted on Older Americans Act Regulations for Missouri State Unit on Aging and the Missouri Area Agencies on Aging
On February 14, 2024, the Administration for Community Living released the new federal regulations for the Older Americans Act. The regulations require that the Department of Health and Senior Services/Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS), as the State Unit on Aging, develop policies and procedures governing all aspects of programs operated as set forth in 45 CFR 1321 and 45 CFR 1324. These policies and procedures shall be developed in consultation with area agencies on aging, program participants, and other appropriate parties in the State. Please review the draft policies and procedures developed by DSDS and the Area Agencies on Aging during the public comment period. The Missouri State Unit on Aging and Area Agency on Aging Policies and Procedures will be available for public comment through November 29, 2024. Please send any comments to MoStatePlanonAging@health.mo.gov by close of business November 29, 2024.
