Tobacco use remains the leading cause of preventable death and disease in Missouri. The Missouri Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) works with local coalitions, community agencies, and state and national partners to implement effective and evidence-based activities that meet the following goals:

  • Promote Quitting Among Adults and Youth
  • Eliminate Exposure to Secondhand Smoke
  • Identify and Eliminate Tobacco-related Disparities Among Population Groups
