Missouri health care providers and public health practitioners: For questions regarding Zika testing of patients, contact the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services’ (DHSS’) Bureau of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention (BCDCP), Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, at 573-751-6113; after hours/weekends, 800-392-0272 (24/7). IMPORTANT: Before submitting a specimen for Zika testing to the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory (MSPHL), medical providers must first consult with a BCDCP epidemiologist to confirm that the patient meets testing criteria.
