HCBS Web Tool System Enhancements

In order to more effectively assist in the development of care plans within the allowable cost maximums that went into effect in July, 2017, the following enhancements to the HCBS Web Tool were implemented as of October 25, 2017.  These updates are most applicable to HCBS providers participating in the reassessment process, but are visible to all users of the HCBS Web Tool.

Assessment Screen

  • The Total Monthly PA Cost will display in the Care Plan Services section.
  • When any combination of Agency Model Personal Care or Consumer Directed Services exceed 60% of the allowable cost maximum, the user will receive the following alert in the Care Plan Services section:

  • When the cost of all requested services exceeds 100% of the allowable cost, the user will receive the following alert in the Care Plan Services section:
