Storage/Transport

  • HBsAg
    • Store samples at 2-8°C after collection.  Ship in provided collection kit with freeze pillow(s) provided. Specimens must be received within 7 days of collection.
    • If samples will not be received within 7 days of collection, they should be aliquoted and stored deep-frozen (-20°C or below) and shipped on dry ice.
  • Anti-HBs
    • Store samples at 2-8°C after collection.  Ship in provided collection kit with freeze pillow(s)provided. Specimens must be received within 7 days of collection.
    • If samples will not be received within 7 days of collection, they should be aliquoted and stored deep-frozen (-20°C or below) and shipped on dry ice.
  • Anti-HBc
    • Store samples at 2-8°C after collection.  Ship in provided collection kit with freeze pillow(s) provided. Specimens must be received within 4 days of collection.
    • If samples will not be received within 4 days of collection, they should be aliquoted and stored deep-frozen (-20°C or below) and shipped on dry ice.
  • Anti-HBc IgM
    • Store samples at 2-8°C after collection.  Ship in provided collection kit with freeze pillow(s) provided. Specimens must be received within 7 days of collection.
    • If samples will not be received within 7 days of collection, they should be aliquoted and stored deep-frozen (-20°C or below) and shipped on dry ice.
