Tropical Valley Foods Alert on Undeclared Allergens
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding the recall alert of Tropical Valley Foods products due to a labeling error. Dark Chocolate, Organic Dark Chocolate and Trail Mix items which were sold in bulk quantities contain undeclared allergens. Consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat, soy or tree nuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The products were shipped to distributors and retailers in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Quebec City, Hong Kong and Dubai UAE.
