The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of MARCOBARS brand almond butter + carob lots 1634 and 1645 and sunflower butter + chocolate lot 1646, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The MacroBars were distributed across the country and internationally via retail stores, mail order and direct delivery. Affected MacroBars are marked as either almond butter + carob with lot numbers 1634 (expiration 10 Mar 15) or 1645 (expiration 18 Mar 15) or sunflower butter + chocolate lot 1646 (expiration 18 Mar 15) and in a foil wrapper.
