Troyer Cheese, Inc. Recalls Backroad Country Caramel Puffcorn Sold in 8oz and 16oz Plastic Bags Because of Undeclared Milk
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received the following news release regarding Backroad Country Caramel Puffcor. The product may contain undeclared milk.
The recalled "Backroad Country Caramel Puffcorn" was distributed between 1/06/2012 - 03/12/2012 to the following 32 states: AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA & WV in retail stores and through mail orders
- The product comes in clear plastic bag labeled with the following codes stamped on the front of the package:

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk in the ingredient statement.
