Campbell Recalls 300 Cases of Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of 24-ounce jars of Prego Traditional Italian sauce because of a risk of spoilage.

The affected product was manufactured on December 15, 2013 and can be identified by the "Best By" date of June 16, 2015 and a four-digit, military time code ranging from "CT BJ ZV 0330" through "CT BJ ZV 0449." This information is printed on the top of the lid as follows:

The product subject to the recall was made at the Campbell Soup Supply Company establishment in Paris, Texas and was shipped on December 21, 2013 to retailer distribution centers that serve the following seven states: Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
