Paskesz Candy Company Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Premium Belgian Chocolate Coins

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of Premium Belgian Chocolate Coins Hologram .5 oz bags because they may contain traces of milk. People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled "Coins" were distributed nationwide in retail stores between October 2012 and December 2013. The product is sold in mesh bags of .5 oz. There are 24 bags in a box. To date one parent has reported that her child took ill after eating one of these coins with the production code P233.
