FreshLine / Caito Foods Service Recalls Limited Quantity of Expired Fresh-Cut Mango
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding the recall of expired fresh-cut mangoes due to the potential risk of Salmonella. This is associated with FoodSource's (Edinburg, TX) recall of mangoes sourced from Agricola Daniella.
The product is packaged in clear plastic containers (cups, bowls, tubs, and clamshell type containers). Consumers who may have purchased affected products should not consume and should destroy or discard it.
- The affected products will have printed code dates ranging from 08/04/12 to 09/16/12. These code dates are clearly printed on the top or bottom label of each individual package.
- The affected products were processed by FreshLine between July 26, 2012 and September 6, 2012 and may contain Agricola Daniella mangoes from FoodSource.
