Freeland Foods Recalls Spicy Seed Due To Potential Health Risk

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of Go Raw Organic Spicy Seed Mix because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Based upon a random sampling, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency ("CFIA") has determined that Go Raw Brand Organic Spicy Seed Mix, UPC859888000400, lot number "Enjoy before May 12, 2015 R2," sold in 1 lb. (454 g) re-sealable plastic bags sold by Ecomax, tested positive for Salmonella.

The product was distributed nationwide and Canada through distributors, retailers and direct customers.
