Ozark Mountain Creamery Cream to be Removed from Store Shelves

The State Milk Board, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, is recalling Ozark Mountain Creamery Cream because of high residual phosphatase. High levels of residual phosphatase may indicate potentially unpasteurized or improperly pasteurized milk, which can contain harmful pathogens.

The recalled cream is packaged in one-half gallon, glass bottles and marked with the code '6/28' or code '7/05'.

The full recall with a list of retail markets can be found at http://mda.mo.gov/news/2013/Ozark_Mountain_Creamery_Cream_to_be_Removed_from_Store_Shelves
