Dole Italian-Blend Salads Recalled Due to Possible Health Risk
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of Dole Italian-blend bagged salads. These products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Dole Fresh Vegetables is voluntarily recalling a limited number of cases of bagged salad. The products being recalled are Dole Italian Blend (UPC7143000819), Fresh Selections Italian Style Blend (UPC1111091045), Little Salad Bar Italian Salad (UPC4149811014) and Marketside Italian Style Salad (UPC8113102780) coded A058201A or B, with Use-by date of March 12, 2014.
Cases of the potentially contaminated Dole Italian-blend salad bags were distributed to Kroger stores in the following locations: Greater Cincinnati (including Northern Kentucky and Dayton, Ohio plus South Eastern Indiana); Central and Northwest Ohio; Northwestern Virginia panhandle; Michigan; Indiana (except SE Indiana, -Evansville-); Illinois; Eastern Missouri; Hopkinsville and Bowling Green, Kentucky; Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee; Huntsville, Alabama; Jay C and Food 4 Less.
