2024 Highlights

DHSS worked with the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) and provided $1.2 million. This funding helped support four Recovery Community Centers (RCCs) in the state. RCCs support those in SUD recovery and link people to local resources. They offer recovery meetings, life skills classes, help with jobs, and offer social events.

In FY25, the SUD grant-funded RCCs made 1,086 new contacts. They distributed 1,078 fentanyl test strips and 721 naloxone supplies. They also achieved 2 total overdose reversals. The centers made 211 referrals for housing, 223 for treatment, and handled 1,155 phone support calls. They had 279 requests for job help and assisted in hiring 124 people.
