TB Contact Investigation

TB Contact Investigation training is being offered by the Department of Health and Senior Services TB Program. This training is open to all LPHA staff who have completed TB or Not TB Case Management in Missouri training.

This is a two-day skill-building workshop that will focus on improving the abilities of staff that are responsible for conducting TB contact investigation interviews. The training will provide an overview of the contact investigation process, basic communication and interviewing skills.

TB or Not TB: Case Management in Missouri (Spring 2024)

Training pertaining to Tuberculosis (TB) is being offered to local public health agencies (LPHAs) and other health care providers at various locations in 2024. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) TB Elimination Program staff will provide information and education about basic concepts related to the prevention and control of TB. Topics covered will include information and activities related to TB diagnosis, management of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and active TB disease, treatment options for TB, the Diagnostic Services Program (DSP), and financial assistance available to LPHAs. TB or Not TB: Case Management in Missouri is a one day, free course and registration is required, as class size is limited.
