Organ Donation Advisory Committee

The Organ Donation Advisory Committee has 10 members. These members represent the community and groups that work with organ, eye, and tissue donation. People who want to be on the committee must live in Missouri. The Department Director chooses the members.

 Committee consists of 10 members representing the community at large and organizations focused on organ, eye, and tissue donation. The overall mission is to reduce the gap between the need for donated organs and the available supply. Members’ role is crucial in educating the public on the importance of donation and ensuring the effective use of resources. ODAC convenes two to four times annually with a structured agenda. Focal areas include:
