Topic: Notice of Mandatory Marijuana Product Recall
Issue: The Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR), in partnership with 1913 Carrollton Manufacturing LLC, MAN000010, is issuing an alert to patients and consumers about a mandatory product recall. Pursuant to 19 CSR 100-1.100(4)(P), DCR may issue a public notice of recall where marijuana product presents a potential threat to health and safety.
No adverse reactions for this product have been reported to DCR at this time.
DCR is issuing a product recall on marijuana products sold to dispensary licensees by manufacturing licensee, 1913 Carrollton Manufacturing LLC, MAN000010. The recalled marijuana product packaging and design resembles non-marijuana products. In order to protect children and prohibit inadvertent consumption of marijuana products, Department rules prohibit marijuana products from resembling non-marijuana products. Additionally, the marijuana product packaging is not the same packaging that was submitted and approved by DCR.
All marijuana product packaging available to patients and consumers is required to be approved by DCR prior to use. Unused product(s) may be returned to the dispensary facility where purchased. Returned products will not count toward a patient’s purchase limit. For more information on returns, please contact the dispensary facility where the product was purchased. For information on recalled items, please go to Product Recalls.
Patients and consumers are reminded that any adverse reactions should be reported by emailing CannabisComplaints@health.mo.gov or filling out a complaint form located here.
