2007 Public Health Education Project

The documents below are public health educational materials that were developed for the Legislative Public Health Education Project launched by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services in conjunction with the local public health agencies in the fall of 2007.

Individuals from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services traveled to local public health agencies in select legislative districts and met with the respective Senators and Representatives of those districts. Districts were selected based on key leadership roles in the legislature. Booklets, health profiles and public health stories were compiled specific to selected district. Other materials used for the Education Project included a Power Point presentation, and the “Missouri’s Public Health System At A Glance – Time of Day” books. All materials were distributed at the meetings. Copies are attached for your reference and use.
