Patient

A Patient is a Missouri resident having at least one qualifying medical condition and applying to possess and consume medical marijuana.

New Patient Application

First time applying for a license. Can include patient cultivation during initial application (See footnote1 for more information).

Patient Update

Submit any change to an approved application like adding patient cultivation (See footnote¹).

Patient Renewal

Active license that will expire within 60 days.

Caregiver

A Caregiver is 21 years of age or older and responsible for managing the wellbeing of 1-3 licensed patient(s).

New Caregiver Application

First time applying for a license. Can include patient cultivation during initial application (See footnote¹ for more information).

Caregiver Update

Submit any change to an approved application like adding patient cultivation (See footnote¹).

Caregiver Renewal

Active license that will expire within 60 days.

Agent ID

An agent is an owner, officer, manager, contractor, employee, or support staff of a medical marijuana facility

(See footnote² for more information).

New Agent Application

First time applying for a license.

Agent Update

Submit any change to an approved application.

Agent Renewal

Active license that will expire within 60 days.

^1. Either the patient or caregiver (not both) may include patient cultivation as part of their application or as an update to their application. Minors cannot add patient cultivation to their application.

^2. The requirement only applies to owners with access to medical marijuana or a medical marijuana facility and to contractors who will perform work with access to medical marijuana or related equipment or supplies for more than 14 days.
