  • Source: Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Health surveillance system, ShowMe WorldCare (SMWC) and Enhanced HIV/AIDS Reporting System (eHARS.) All data should be considered provisional and subject to change as additional reports are received.
  • HIV case counts include new diagnoses (HIV\AIDS) only. Hepatitis B and C case counts include confirmed and probable cases for both acute and chronic conditions. For details about case definitions, please refer to the CDC’s website. Cases diagnosed in Missouri State Correctional facilities are excluded. Thirty-six percent of all Hepatitis cases have no reported race. Race-stratified disease rates should be interpreted with caution.
  • The top panel shows total statewide case counts for each disease. Hovering over the bars will give corresponding case counts and rates per 100k. The map illustrates case rates per 100k by county. Hovering over each county displays the total number of cases and the case rate. The third panel bar graph displays case rates by age group, race, and sex. Hovering over the bars will give the case rates per 100k. Filters for Year, County and Demographics apply only to the bottom two panels.
