Topic: Notice of Mandatory Marijuana Product Recall

Issue: The Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR), in partnership with Bootheel CannaCare Columbia LLC, MAN000030 is issuing an alert to patients and consumers about a mandatory product recall. Pursuant to 19 CSR 100-1.100(4)(P), DCR may issue a public notice of recall where marijuana product presents a potential threat to health and safety.

No adverse reactions for this product have been reported to DCR at this time.

DCR is issuing a product recall on marijuana products sold to dispensary licensees by manufacturing licensee, Bootheel CannaCare Columbia LLC, MAN000030. The recalled marijuana products were not compliantly labeled prior to being sold to patients and consumers. The recalled marijuana products contain ingredient (grapefruit mercaptan) not listed on the compliance label as required by 19 CSR 100- 1.120(1)(C)2.A. Patients and consumer would not be alerted to its presence. DCR is working with the Licensee to ensure all products not yet sold are compliantly labeled.

Unused product(s) may be returned to the dispensary facility where purchased. Returned products will not count toward a patient’s purchase limit.
