Dear Registrants,
On February 28, 2023, Missouri Code of State Regulation 19 CSR 30-1.017(3)(B) was amended to now allow for an online application process when applying for a State controlled substance registration through the Missouri Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD). The regulation now state (in relevant part):
(B) Applications for registration shall be made on online forms designated by the Department of Health and Senior Services. Applications for registration shall be completed online and submitted electronically via the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services’ website along with the required fee.
Effective July 1, 2023, paper applications and check payments will no longer be accepted. The application and voided check will be returned via U.S. Postal Mail. Payments for registration fees should be made through the online payment system upon completion of the electronic application.
Helpful tips for completing the online application process
Apply and pay at the BNDD website. Do not copy and paste into the fields. Allow pop-up windows before starting. To do that follow these instructions:
- Open a Google Chrome Window.
- Select Chrome Menu Button (upper right corner button with 3 vertical dots)
- Select “Settings”
- Select “Privacy & Security”
- Select “Site Settings”
- Click on “Pop ups & Redirects”
- Switch it to “Allowed”
Then, log in and submit an application and fee. Click the button that says “Apply for Registration”, after logging in.
Respectfully,
E.J. Jackson, Administrator
