Subject: [Update] HCBS Fusion Prior Authorization and Billing Issue
This memorandum serves to notify Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) providers of an important update pertaining to INFO 05-25-05.
DSDS has identified and corrected affected care plans. Corrected care plans should now contain the correct identifier and subsequent taxonomy code necessary to successfully bill for reimbursement of HCBS.
If you encounter issues related to an incorrect taxonomy code when attempting to bill for HCBS for the following services, please contact us at HCBS.Systems@health.mo.gov and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Services affected were as follows:
- Chore (S5120)
- Homemaker (S5130)
- Basic Respite (S5150)
- Advanced Respite (S5150 TF)
