Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) recently learned the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s name-based criminal record search fee will increase by one dollar to $16, effective October 1, 2026. This means the FCSR registration fee will also increase to $16. The fee increase results from a change in statute and is required by MSHP.
FCSR’s registration and background screening system is being updated to charge the new fee for online registrations beginning October 1 (along with the credit/debit card processing fee of $0.57, for a total of $16.57 for online registrations). Updated Worker Registration forms are in progress and will be posted as soon as possible at Family Care Safety Registry. The FCSR will not process any paper worker registration forms submitted with the incorrect fee if postmarked after October 1, 2026.
