DHSS Respiratory Protection Training – There are three versions of this training, click on the correct version for you. Please read all the information below before you proceed.
- This training is required for all DHSS employees who have been assigned tight-fitting respirators for use in their daily duties or emergency response duties. This includes the N95 respirator.
- It is to be completed by all new employees prior to their initial fit test then annually at the time of annual fit testing, prior to the fit test.
- This training must be completed prior to your fit test. You will receive a confirmation at the time of completion to take with you to your fit test. Without this confirmation, you cannot be fit tested.
Click on the correct version for you:
- Version 1: If you are using most N95, P100, N100 bowl shaped respirators, specifically including 3M Aura Series, 3M 9210+, 9205+, 1870+, & 9211+ respirators. This training is for those who are taking their initial training and for those taking their annual training using any of the respirators listed above.
- Version 2: If you are using most N95, P100, N100 bowl shaped respirators, specifically including 3M Aura Series, 3M 9210+, 9205+, 1870+, & 9211+, Honeywell or North model 7700, MSA advantage 420 and 290 elastomeric half-mask respirators. This training is for all others to be taken prior to annual fit testing using any of the respirators listed above.
- Version 3: If you are using most N95, P100, N100 bowl shaped respirators, specifically including 3M Aura Series, 3M 9210+, 9205+, 1870+, & 9211+, Honeywell/North model 7700, MSA advantage 420 and 290 elastomeric half-mask respirators, and Scott AV300 full face respirators. This training is for all others who are new respirator users and are using any of the respirators listed above or taking the training for the first time.
