HRSA’s Bullying Prevention Training Resources
We are pleased to announce that HRSA’s bullying prevention training resources have a beautiful, newly-designed home on StopBullying.gov!
Please visit the site’s new Bullying Prevention Training Center to access the Bullying Prevention Training Module and to find their Community Action Toolkit and new, audience-specific user guides. The guides were developed in collaboration with over 40 partner organizations and are available in English and Spanish for eleven different groups, including parents and caregivers, school administrators, law enforcement officials, and health and safety professionals.
Bullied-A Student, A School, and a Case That Made History–Free (one kit per school) documentary film endorsed by the National Education Association addressing one student’s ordeal at the hands of anti-gay bullies and offers an inspiring message of hope to those fighting harassment today. Kit includes materials to use with staff and within the classroom to help school staff and students understand the terrible toll bullying can take on its victims and encourages them to stand up for classmates/students who are being harassed for any reason. Made available by the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Teaching Tolerance program.
