TB Contact Investigation Training New!
TB Contact Investigation training is being offered by the Department of Health and Senior Services TB Program. This is a two day skill-building workshop that will focus on improving the abilities of staff that are responsible for conducting TB contact investigation interviews. The training will provide an overview of the contact investigation process, basic communication and interviewing skills. For an overview of the course content, please see the agenda. TB Orientation for LPHAs and Other Health Care Providers New!
TB Orientation training for LPHAs and other Health Care Providers is being offered at various locations across the state. The Department of Health and Senior Services’TB Program staff will provide information and education about basic concepts related to TB prevention and control. Topics covered will include information needed for TB diagnosis, management of LTBI and active TB disease, and basic treatment options for TB. Registration is free, but required, as class size is limited to ensure that sufficient handouts are available.
