Lodging

Any building, group of buildings, structure, facility, place or places of business where five or more guest rooms are provided is required to obtain a state-issued lodging license annually.

There are over 1,600 commercial lodging establishments regulated by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Annual inspections are conducted by local health departments.
