The Missouri Healthcare Workforce Registry and Exchange (MoHWoRx) is an information system developed by DHSS to help health professionals meet state registration requirements and to provide comprehensive and timely information on health care access statewide. MoHWoRx currently supports the Missouri Health Professionals Registry and the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (BNDD) online registration.

Demonstration links are provided to allow review of the individual systems. No data is retained in either of the demonstration links. MoHWoRx has the capacity to collect practice and demographic data on other professions and specialties and may be expanded in the future to accommodate additional disciplines and applications.

The Missouri Health Professional Registry is a voluntary registration tool that will provide the foundation for a comprehensive Missouri health care workforce information system. Information collected through the registry will assure accurate and timely information on health care access for local and state planning. In addition the information will support designations of Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA).
