Disaster and Emergency Planning
The Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Emergency Coordination works to ensure that plans and systems are in place to promote health and safety of Missourians during public health emergencies. Collaboration with local public health agencies, local government, law enforcement agencies, schools, hospitals and other health care organizations helps us to prepare for both man-made and natural disasters.
