Trifecta Foods, LLC Recalls Fresh Pak® and Energy Club® Brands of In-Shell Roasted Salted and Unsalted Peanuts
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding the recall of In-shell Roasted Salted and Unsalted Peanuts supplied to Trifecta Foods by Sunland, Inc. because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The products being recalled are In-shell Roasted Salted and Unsalted Peanuts available to retail customers under the Fresh Pak and Energy Club labels distributed nationally to independent stores, grocery and retail chains. The products being recalled were distributed during the six month period immediately prior to the October 12, 2012 recall date (April 12, 2012 - October 12, 2012) and distribution of the products has ceased. The products being recalled will have "Best By"/expiration dates on the packaging from November 23, 2012 through April 10, 2013.
