Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation Recalls EZ Breathe Atomizer

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of EZ Breathe Atomizer due to a manufacturing defect which could result in the washer ("Plate A") becoming dislodged from the EZ Breathe Atomizer. If this occurs, users may accidentally swallow the washer or choke on it, which can lead to serious adverse health consequences or death.

The EZ Breathe Atomizer is a device that is intended to spray liquid medication in aerosol form into the air that a person will breathe.

The device was manufactured from May 2012 - October 2012 and distributed from August 2012 - April 2013. To locate the serial numbers of the affected products visit the EZ Breathe Atomizer information page.
