Bee International Expands Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg in "Sweet Spots"

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services received information regarding a recall of 2 oz. packages of candy "Sweet Spots" because they may contain undeclared egg protein. People who have allergies to egg may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled "Sweet Spots" were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through food distributors.

The product comes in a 2 oz clear plastic package marked with lot codes 2158613 or 2335613 on the back and bearing the UPC 0-73563-00471-6. It is a candy item consisting of small drops of candy on a backing paper that are peeled off and consumed.
