JOB POSTING: Full-Time WIC Clerk – Johnson County Community Health Services
JOB POSTING: Full-Time Client Services Specialist – Clay County Public Health Center

SUBJECT 1: Temporary Increase of the Cash-Value Benefit for Fruit and Vegetable Purchases. The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) gave USDA authority to temporarily increase the Cash-Value Benefit for Fruit and Vegetable Purchases (CVB) for food packages III, IV, V, VI, and VII to an amount that is less than or equal to $35 per month during the federally declared COVID-19 public health emergency. State WIC programs will be able to utilize this authority and provide an increase in the CVB amount for an applicable period of up to four (4) consecutive months. The authority of state WIC programs to increase the amount of the CVB terminates on September 30, 2021. Missouri has elected to use this authority and will provide further guidance in the near future to ensure adequate implementation time, appropriate updates to MOWINS, and communication regarding CVB increase to participants and retailers.
