SUBJECT 1: New Crystal Report for Returned Formula
JOB POSTING: Full-Time WIC Clerk – Johnson County Community Health Services
JOB POSTING: Full-Time Client Services Specialist – Clay County Public Health Center
JOB POSTING: Full-Time Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist – Butler County Health Department
SUBJECT 1: New Crystal Report for Returned Formula. A new report called “Returned Formula” is available in the Crystal Reports BiPortal. This report tracks returned formula entered under the Change Food Already Issued function in MOWINS. The report can be accessed under Local Agency - Food/Formula then exported into an Excel document. The Excel document can be utilized to record donation and disposal activities related to those formulas. LAs that prefer this method of documentation for returned formula activities will not need to use the WIC Formula Acceptance and Action Log.
Note: The report will not track returns from direct shipments or returned formula from a previous month’s issuance.
Returned formula from either of those situations will still need to be tracked manually. Each agency can choose the tracking method that best suits them as long as the required items are provided per Policy 2.3.080: Return, Donation, and Disposal of Formula and WIC-Eligible Nutritionals. Please see the attached example of the report (SWID numbers and UserIDs were removed for participant privacy and security purposes). For any questions, please call the state agency at (800) 392-8209 and ask for the nutritionist on formula duty or your TA nutritionist.
