SUBJECT 1: FFY 2019 End-of-Year Invoices Due December 10, 2019. The deadline for submission of FFY (federal fiscal year) 2019 end-of-year invoices is Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Expenses must have been incurred prior to October 1, 2019 to qualify for the FFY 2019 funding year. The grant year will close at the end of December and payments beyond this date are not possible. Supplemental invoices are due 12-10-2019 - ABSOLUTE DEADLINE.

SUBJECT 2: MWA Survey – Enter for a Chance to Win! The Missouri WIC Association (MWA) is asking ALL local agency staff for their participation in this short survey to help MWA serve you and your agencies better. Every local agency staff member who completes the survey will be entered to win a $25.00 VISA gift card. Must be a WIC local agency staff to win. Winners will be drawn on December 9th.
SUBJECT 3: WIC State Agency Phone Lines December 9-10, 2019. On December 9th and 10th all WIC State Agency staff must attend mandatory off-site meetings. The main WIC phone line (800-392-8209) will not be answered or monitored for messages during these times. If you have an emergency or situation that affects service provision or benefit issuance to WIC participants, please contact the MOWINS Help Desk at the contact information below.
The WIC main telephone line will not be monitored:
Monday, December 9th from 12:30 p.m. – to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, December 10th from 8 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
If you are in need of MOWINS assistance, staff are encouraged to email the WIC Help Desk at WICHelpDesk@health.mo.gov or leave a voicemail on the MOWINS Help Desk line at 800-554-2544. The MOWINS Help Desk will check email and voicemail frequently and will respond as soon as possible.
SUBJECT 4: MOWINS eWIC Trainings. The MOWINS eWIC trainings are officially complete! All staff are required to complete each of the eWIC training modules to better understand all of the new eWIC functionalities in MOWINS. Each module should be completed in the order in which they are listed. It is recommended to watch the training modules, which range from 5 to 14 minutes in length, in 20- to 30- minute increments to increase retention and decrease the likelihood of viewer fatigue. There will be more information provided about these training modules in the weeks to come!
