JOB POSTING: WIC Clerk/Health Professional Assistant (HPA) - Family Care Health Centers
SUBJECT 1: Microcuvette and Analyzer Deliveries. Local agencies scheduled to receive a shipment of microcuvettes and/or analyzers will begin receiving shipments soon. Once the order is received, please verify the number of microcuvettes and analyzers received matches the number listed on the packing slip. If the number of microcuvettes/analyzers in the package is the same as the packing slip, sign and date the packing slip. Please fax the signed packing slip to WIC Operations at 573-526-1470 within one week of receiving the shipment. Confirmation on the packing slip is required in order for the state agency to pay for the microcuvettes and send WIC tags for the analyzers. If the number of microcuvettes/analyzers received is different from the packing slip, please call Jennifer Roberts at 573-526-2821. If you are unable to locate your packing slip, please send an email stating how many boxes or analyzers you received and the date you received the shipment to WICOperations@health.mo.gov

SUBJECT 2: MOWINS Help Desk Closure. The MOWINS Help Desk will be closed on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, September 25 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
The MOWINS Help Desk will check email and voicemail frequently during the closure times and will respond as soon as possible.
SUBJECT 3: Local Agency Bulletin Board Contest for the Missouri 2018 WIC Conference - New Email Address. The below information was sent out in a previous WIC Update. Please note there is a new email address to send submissions. Please email the .jpg file, theme category, and local agency name to MOWICbulletinboardcontest@gmail.com

The Missouri WIC Association (MWA) will host a bulletin board contest this year at the 2018 Missouri WIC Conference held October 3-5, 2018 in Branson. Local agencies are invited and encouraged to participate in a bulletin board contest to showcase staff creativity in designing displays that reflect a variety of WIC themes. Entries in each Thematic Category will be evaluated based on Creativity, Artistic Design, and Overall Impact. Contest entries will be displayed in one of the plenary sessions during the conference so local agencies can gain ideas to create their own displays. Begin designing your bulletin board now to ensure your entry is submitted by September 21, 2018! Thematic Categories and Guidelines for Submission are listed below. All entries should be sent to the email address in the Guidelines for Submission, below.

JOB POSTING: WIC Clerk/Health Professional Assistant (HPA) - Family Care Health Centers. Family Care Health Centers is accepting applications for a full time WIC Clerk/Health Professional Assistant (HPA).
Responsibilities include determining eligibility of WIC applicants, collecting and documenting height, weight, blood work data, and providing clerical support. Strong customer service skills required.
Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED; 1+ years WIC experience preferred.
