JOB POSTING: Full Time WIC Clerk - Northeast Community Action Corporation (NECAC). NECAC seeks full-time WIC Clerk for the Family Planning/Women, Infants and Children program at its St. Charles County Service Center in O’Fallon. Regular work hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to noon one Saturday per month. Will work predominantly in St. Charles County, but may work in other county offices (Warrenton) to supplement the workforce when required. Involves contact with the public, visitors, and clients. Will clerk for the Family Planning Program. Will predominately clerk for the WIC program and in future with additional training, will become a Certifier. Must have a high school diploma or GED, excellent people skills, hands-on computer experience, and a working knowledge of Excel and Word software programs. Medical Assistant experience or certification a plus. Continued employment will require successful completion of state-required training. Starting wage of $12.00 an hour and excellent benefit package that includes agency-paid health insurance with dental and vision, agency-provided 401(k) retirement plan, 14 paid holidays, and accumulative vacation and sick days. JOB POSTING: WIC Nutritionist - Platte County Health Department WIC. Seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) nutritionist to provide individual assessment, counseling, and support for breastfeeding, pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5. Duties also include individual and group education and being accountable for daily clinic functions. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition including 15 credit hours of food and nutrition. WIC experience is preferred.
