Specifically, MWA provides peer support and opportunities to exchange information, works toward quality community nutrition by influencing public health and nutrition services at the state and national levels, enhances professional knowledge by providing workshops, promotes legislative awareness, and participates in the planning and implementation of the Biennial WIC Conference. All local agencies are members of MWA. Actively participating in MWA is a great way to learn more about what is happening across the state and improve communication and practices within your district and agency.

Specific information about the positions up for election can be found on the application forms (attached). Interested candidates should send a completed application form to Heidi Loecke, MWA Vice President, at by June 29, 2018.
