is seeking a WIC Clerk. This position is responsible for helping to determine eligibility of WIC participants by performing income assessment, and obtaining and entering participant information. Other duties include but are not limited to answering phones, scheduling, and basic office duties. Strong customer service skills are required. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Office, computer, and WIC experience preferred. Position is available for 5 days a week, full time (40 hrs./week). JOB POSTING: Nutritionist - City of St. Joseph Health Department. This position assists with administering the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, while following the policies and procedures established by the federal and state government. The Nutritionist will also provide nutrition and breastfeeding counseling for the participants. No supervisory responsibilities; limited budgetary responsibilities. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a nutrition related field with at least fifteen (15) semester hours in food and nutrition; including at least one course in Diet Therapy and one course in Community Nutrition.
