SUBJECT 2: Surveys to LWPs - 2016 WIC Conference. The 2016 WIC Conference will be held in St. Louis in October 2016. The LWPs will be receiving 2 surveys via e-mail from the State WIC Office this month. The first survey will be to ask for input on topics for the 2016 WIC Conference. This will be sent from Mark Davis and will be sent to all LWP Coordinators (Breastfeeding, Nutrition, WIC and Retailer). The second survey will be to find out how many LWP staff will be staying at the conference hotel. This survey will be sent from Phyllis Fuller and will be sent to only the WIC Coordinators. We are hoping that every LWP will respond to our surveys.
SUBJECT 3: Important Message - WICHealth.org. Changes to LWP email addresses from @LPHA.MOPUBLIC.ORG to the new domain address @LPHA.MO.GOV will affect WICHealth.org lessons being submitted to LWPs. The state office requests that if your agency will not be using the new domain address and has instead opted to use its own agency email address to please contact Sybil Schlater at Sybil.Schlater@health.mo.gov so this change can be made to Missouri’s WICHealth.org email system.
The email conversion scheduled for January 13 has been changed to February 12. After the conversion, @lpha.mopublic.org emails will be forwarded to new email accounts until March 1.
Please remember that all LWPs are required to set up a WICHealth.org account to ensure that they are able to serve transfer participants from other agencies within the state and out of state who are already participating in providing nutrition education through WICHealth.org. Thank you for promoting WICHealth.org as a nutrition education option for Missouri WIC participants.
SUBJECT 4: Microcuvette and Analyzer - Response Required. It is time to order microcuvettes by completing the survey. Please follow the instructions below to assure your agency receives your supply of microcuvettes and/or analyzer:
