Office of Rural Health and Primary Care Rural Health Day 2022

On November 17, 2022, the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care (ORHPC) will host the second annual Rural Health Day celebration. The celebration honors the efforts of rural communities and healthcare providers for their selfless, community-minded spirit that prevails in rural Missouri. The ORHPC will honor Rural Health Champions nominated by rural stakeholders committed to addressing health equity and healthcare challenges. These dedicated honorees will receive an award and proclamation from the Missouri Governor, Mike Parsons, for their outstanding efforts to provide quality care and services in the communities they serve.

ORHPC is pleased to be joined by co-sponsors: Missouri Primary Care Association (MPCA), Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA), Missouri Immunization Coalition (MIC), Missouri University Rural Scholars Program, Missouri Area Health Education Centers (AHEC), and A.T. Still University (ATSU) – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM), and the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA).
