The Volunteer Health Services Act (Sections 191.1100 – 191.1112, RSMo) was passed via Senate Bill 129 in 2013. The Act provides immunity from liability for licensed health care providers who engage in the voluntary provision of health care services through sponsoring organizations. The sponsoring organizations must annually register and pay a $50 fee, as well as file quarterly reports with the Department of Health and Senior Services.
