Nuts and Bolts of Dietary Management of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) from Pediatrics to Adults
Dietary management of EoE has been shown to be an effective option for children and is gaining great acceptance for adults. Join Alexia Beauregard, MD, RD, CSP, LD for this recorded webinar where participants will gain a general understanding of EoE and the different types of elimination diets, become familiar with feeding issues that may develop as a result of EoE, and be able to provide patients and families with survival skills to help them be successful with their elimination diet. Setting the Table: Initial Steps Towards Achieving Adequate Nutritional Intake in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Gastrointestinal Issues (GI)/Food Allergies
Feeding problems are common in children with ASD and can result from a variety of reasons (e.g., oral motor, behavioral, sensory processing, and/or medical issues). In addition, they may present themselves in a variety of ways - often disrupting eating and mealtimes. The candidate must have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Economics, or closely related field; including or supplemented by at least fifteen (15) semester hours in food and nutrition including diet therapy and community nutrition. The selected candidate will provide nutrition education to WIC eligible participants and assess their nutritional needs for certification eligibility. JOB POSTING: WIC Nutritionist - Butler County Health Department. Butler County Health Department has an opening for a WIC Nutritionist. Primary responsibilities of this position include planning and implementing the nutritional components of the WIC program, completing the job functions of a WIC Nutritionist, and providing nutrition and breastfeeding counseling and education to eligible families. This position is 30 to 32 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in dietetics, public health nutrition, human nutrition, nutritional sciences, nutrition and fitness, sports nutrition, restaurant and food management, foods, family and consumer sciences, human environmental sciences, or home economics - including or supplemented by at least one course in Diet Therapy I and II, and one course in Community Nutrition or Nutrition In Life Cycle/Life Cycle Nutrition. Will need to provide transcripts.
