The State WIC office has provided the local agency WIC Coordinator’s contact information to the National WIC Association (NWA) office. As a result, all WIC Coordinators should be receiving the NWA Monday Morning Update by email. It is the responsibility of the WIC Coordinator to share the Monday Morning Update with appropriate staff. ¬†Any changes to the contact information should be sent from the local agency to Robert Lee at RLee@nwica.org

The Missouri WIC Office is sponsoring two scholarships for LWP staff to attend the 2016 NWA Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., February 28-March 1. This conference provides a forum to discuss Federal initiatives affecting the health and nutritional well-being of WIC mothers and young children, and WIC’s role as a preventative public health nutrition program. The deadline for applications is January 8. Please see the attached application for more information. (ONE ATTACHMENT)

SUBJECT 4: Upcoming Holidays-2016. The State WIC office will be closed and there will be no WIC help desk coverage on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 18; Lincoln Day, February 12; and Washington’s Birthday, February 15.
