SUBJECT 3: CEU Corner.
Picky Eating: Strategies for Shifting from Struggle to Success
Picky eating comes up time and again as a stubborn childhood feeding problem. Parents try their best to get their child to eat. Pressure builds as others give parents advice and dutiful doctors tell them how important it is to get their child to eat. What everyone needs is less pressure, not more. The problem of pickiness is an issue appropriately addressed in primary care practice. But what key pieces of information do you need? Once you identify the causal and contributing factors, then what? The road to success in treating feeding problems is clearly identified in the Satter Feeding Dynamics Model and the Satter's Division of Responsibility in Feeding. This live webinar will be held from 2:00-3:30 pm on December 15th and will be presented by Ellyn Satter Institute in association with Dietitian Central. There is a registration cost associated with this training of $27. Please contact your District Nutritionist for approval.
