SUBJECT 1: WICHealth.org New Lesson and Latest Usage Numbers: WICHealth.org has added a new lesson for children with the title “Two Minutes Twice a Day for a Healthy Smile”. MOWINS Nutrition Education has been updated to include this lesson and CPAs/Nutritionists can make the selection as a WICHealth.org selection in MOWINS for documentation.

There were 2,604 MO client wichealth.org accounts created between 3/17/14 and 3/5/15 and 4,478 lessons completed. Of those accounts created, 73 clients utilized the Health eKitchen (HeK) service viewing an average of 2 videos each. Many of those clients viewed 4 or more videos each. This shows that among those who use the tool, there is often a fairly high level of engagement. Approximately 3% of wichealth.org users from Missouri engaged with the Health eKitchen tool during the period outlined above.

Please continue to promote WIChealth.org to participants as an option for nutrition education. If you any have questions please contact Rose Sipakati at Rose.Sipakati@health.mo.gov or by phone at 573-522-2831.
