Updated Policies on WOM October 1, 2013: USDA recently approved two updated WIC Policies. The updated policies are ER # 3.05600, Explaining the FI Redemption Process; and ER # 3.08500, Partial Formula Redemption. The updated policies will be posted on the WOM web site: http://health.mo.gov/living/families/wic/wiclwp/wom on October 1, 2013.
In both policies, the change that was made was to remove “infant” in front of “formula” in several places. This change was made to reduce confusion because formula is not always for an infant.
If you have questions please contact Mark Davis at Mark.Davis@health.mo.gov or 573-526-5323 or 800-392-8209 or your TA staff.
