April 18, 2005 WIC Update
SUBJECT: Prenatal Weight Gain Chart
SUBJECT: July Program Updates Training
Program Update Training to introduce USDA’s Revision 7 Nutrition Risk Criteria changes is scheduled for July 2005. The two-hour session will provide attendees with updated nutrition-specific program information and clarification regarding nutrition program issues. Program Updates is a mandatory training and the Nutrition Coordinator from each agency must attend the training. This is a Train-the-Trainer session, where those attending will provide the training to all appropriate staff at the agency before Revision 7 changes are implemented in October 2005. If the Nutrition Coordinator cannot attend, the agency CPA or Nutritionist should attend. If an agency wishes to send additional staff to the training, please contact D’Anne Ward. Additional agency staff may attend dependent upon seating availability.
The trainings will be delivered at the Department of Health and Senior District (DHSS) Offices onsite not via video conference. Please attend training at the location closest to your office or home.
